Yes, you can connect up to two 6K external displays (6016x3384) at 60Hz or one 5K external display (5120x2880) at 60Hz using the Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports.
The iMac features two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports, four USB-A ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, an SDXC card slot, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
To clean the display, first power off the iMac and unplug the power cord. Then, use a soft, lint-free cloth (like a microfiber cloth) lightly dampened with water only. Gently wipe the screen. Avoid using harsh chemicals or sprays.
Absolutely. With its Intel Core i9 10-core processor, AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT with 16GB VRAM, 1TB SSD, and the stunning 5K Retina display, it is well-equipped for demanding professional video editing, 3D rendering, and graphic design workflows.
The 2020 iMac originally shipped with a version of macOS Catalina and is compatible with newer versions of macOS, including the latest supported version at the time of your upgrade. You can update macOS through the System Settings/System Preferences.
Typically, the iMac comes with an Apple Magic Keyboard and an Apple Magic Mouse 2 (or Magic Trackpad 2, depending on configuration options chosen at purchase).
Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the iMac and a working wall outlet. Try a different power outlet or power cord if available. Press the power button firmly.
Close unnecessary applications to free up RAM. Check your storage space (Apple Menu > About This Mac > Storage) and free up space if it's nearly full. Restart your iMac regularly. Consider upgrading RAM if your workload consistently exceeds current capacity.
Restart your Wi-Fi router and your iMac. Go to System Settings/System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi and try turning Wi-Fi off and then on again. You may also try 'Forget this Network' and reconnecting.
Ensure the cable connecting the external display is securely plugged into both the iMac's Thunderbolt 3 port and the display. Check the display's input source settings. Try restarting your iMac. If using adapters, ensure they are compatible and functioning correctly.
Check that the iMac's vents (on the back and bottom) are not obstructed, allowing for proper airflow. Avoid placing the iMac in direct sunlight or in a very warm room. Close resource-intensive applications if the noise persists during light usage.
