The Dr. Martens Desert Rodeo Quad Hi boots are designed for adults seeking a bold, Western-inspired aesthetic paired with the durability of a classic platform boot. Featuring distinctive fringe detailing and contrast stitching, these boots provide an elevated, rugged style suitable for statement outfits; however, potential wearers should note that the heavy-duty Quad sole requires a brief break-in period for optimal comfort during long-term wear.

No, suede is naturally porous. We recommend applying a water-repellent spray designed for suede to add a layer of protection against light moisture.
Generally, Dr. Martens run true to size. If you are between sizes, many users prefer to size up to accommodate thicker socks during the break-in period.
The fringe is a structural design element of this specific model and is not intended to be removed.
The Quad platform sole is significantly thicker and heavier than the standard air-cushioned sole, which may take some getting used to if you are accustomed to lighter footwear.
While the platform sole provides good distance from the ground, the suede material can be easily damaged by salt and melting snow, so they are not recommended for harsh winter conditions.
Wear thick socks and limit walking time initially to allow the material to soften and conform to your foot shape.
Use a specialized suede brush to lift the fibers and gently remove accumulated dust.
Use a suede-specific eraser or cleaner. Never soak suede in water.
Because these boots are made from suede, initial care is crucial. Before your first wear, apply a high-quality suede protector spray to guard against moisture and dirt. To maintain the fringe's shape, store the boots upright and avoid folding the fringe during storage. Cleaning should be done with a dedicated suede brush; use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dust and dirt. Avoid using standard leather polish or harsh soaps, as these can permanently damage the suede texture. If the boots get wet, let them air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the material from cracking or stiffening.
