How should I clean my Puma Ultra Match boots?

Use a soft brush to remove dirt, wipe the surface with a damp cloth, and air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat.

Do these boots run true to size?

Generally, they follow standard adult sizing. It is recommended to choose your usual size, though keep in mind the snug performance fit of the Ultra series.

What is the benefit of the FastTrax studs?

FastTrax studs are engineered to optimize the phases of acceleration, braking, and cutting, making you quicker off the mark.

Can I use these on indoor courts?

No, these are designed for outdoor natural or artificial grass surfaces. Using them on indoor courts may cause slipping and damage the outsole.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel stiff during first use

Synthetic uppers often require a short break-in period. Wear them for 2-3 training sessions before wearing them in a competitive match.

Slipping inside the boot

Ensure the NanoGrip sockliner is clean and try wearing dedicated grip or performance socks to enhance the connection between your foot and the boot.

Studs clogging with rubber crumb

Regularly brush out the outsole after playing on artificial turf to maintain optimal traction and prevent uneven wear.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely lightweight construction for rapid acceleration
Versatile soleplate performs well on both FG and AG surfaces
Excellent ball control thanks to GripControl texture
Secure, irritation-free lockdown system
Inspired by professional F1 engineering for optimal speed

Cons

Low-cut collar may offer less ankle support than mid-cut alternatives
Synthetic materials require a brief break-in period for optimal comfort
Specialized studs require consistent cleaning to maintain grip

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best experience, wear these boots with appropriate performance football socks to enhance the effectiveness of the NanoGrip sockliner.

Surface Compatibility: These boots are optimized for firm natural ground and artificial grass (FG/AG). Avoid using them on extremely muddy pitches where traction may be compromised or on concrete, which can damage the studs.
Cleaning: After use, remove loose dirt and grass using a soft brush. Wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the boots or using abrasive chemicals.
Drying: Always air dry at room temperature. Never place boots near heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can degrade the synthetic adhesives and materials.
