The adidas Predator Elite Fold Over Tongue Astro Turf Boots are designed for adult male football players who demand superior control and a classic aesthetic on artificial surfaces. Featuring a high-performance HybridTouch upper and a heritage-inspired fold-over tongue, these boots offer a clean strike zone and a highly adaptive fit. While they provide excellent stability and grip, users should be aware that the specialised outsole is optimized specifically for turf environments and may not offer the same performance on firm grass or indoor hard courts.

These boots are specifically engineered for artificial turf. While they may provide traction on some firm ground pitches, the stud pattern is optimized for synthetic surfaces and may not offer ideal stability on natural grass.
The fold-over tongue is designed to provide a cleaner strike zone. It does not negatively affect the fit but does add a layer of material over the laces that helps protect them and keeps the strike zone smooth.
Use a soft cloth dampened with water and a very mild detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges, as these can damage the texture of the upper.
No, the Astro Turf outsole is designed for outdoor synthetic turf. It may be too aggressive or slippery for indoor gym floors and could leave marks.
Store them in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid leaving them in a wet football bag after a match, as moisture can lead to material degradation and odor.
Loosen the lacing system completely, put the boot on, and re-lace with a wider gap between the eyelets to allow for more volume.
Ensure the tongue is securely tucked under the elastic strap if provided, or adjust the tightness of the top lace knot to hold it firmly in place.
Inspect the studs for compacted rubber infill. Use a firm brush to clear out debris from between the studs to restore traction.
To achieve the best fit, ensure the laces are adjusted evenly from the bottom up before securing the fold-over tongue. These boots are specifically manufactured for artificial turf surfaces; using them on abrasive concrete or standard soil pitches may result in premature wear of the outsole studs. After playing, remove excess turf rubber beads or dirt from the outsole using a soft-bristled brush. Wipe the HybridTouch upper with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed, then allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources to maintain the integrity of the materials.
