Product Information

Full details

The NGT 3-piece baiting spoon set is designed for carp and coarse anglers looking to streamline their baiting process, whether filling PVA bags, loading spod mixes, or topping up bait launchers. By offering three distinct sizes, this set ensures precision and efficiency during high-volume baiting sessions while helping to keep your gear clean and organized. While the durable, one-piece construction is incredibly reliable for most standard particles and pellets, anglers should note that the plastic material may be prone to cracking if used to forcefully break up frozen or extremely dense, compacted bait blocks.

FAQs

Are these spoons safe for use with food-grade bait?

Yes, the spoons are BPA-free and manufactured from food-safe plastics.

Can I use these to break up large, solid chunks of frozen boilies?

It is not recommended, as the plastic may crack under high pressure; it is better to thaw your bait first.

Do the spoons float if dropped in the water?

While the plastic is lightweight, they are designed for scooping and may sink depending on the density of the specific model and how much water they take in.

How do I secure them back together?

The spoons feature a snap-fit locking edge; simply align the edges and press firmly until they click into place.

Are they compatible with all types of groundbait?

Yes, the spoons are designed to handle dry, damp, or sticky groundbait blends effectively.

Troubleshooting

Spoons are difficult to separate.

Check for debris or dried bait residue caught in the clip mechanism; rinse with warm water to loosen any obstructions.

The plastic feels slippery when wet.

Ensure the exterior of the spoon is dry before use, or wipe the handle portion with a cloth if it comes into contact with fish slime or oil.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Using the NGT Baiting Spoon Set requires no setup; simply unclip the spoons to use them individually. They are compatible with all standard fishing pellets, groundbait blends, and cooked particles. To maintain the spoons, simply rinse them with lake water or fresh water after your session to remove residue. Since they are dishwasher safe, you can place them on the top rack of your dishwasher at home for a deep clean to remove fish oils and attractants. Store the set clipped together in a dry area of your tackle box or luggage to ensure they are ready for your next outing.
