Troubleshooting

Paint is peeling.

Ensure the surface was properly prepared (cleaned and sanded) before painting. Apply a primer if necessary and reapply the paint following the instructions.

Paint is not covering well.

Apply additional thin coats, allowing each coat to dry completely. A second or third coat may be necessary depending on the original color and condition of the radiator.

Paint is running or dripping.

Apply thinner coats and avoid overloading the brush or roller. If using a sprayer, adjust the settings to reduce the flow.

The paint smells strongly.

Ensure adequate ventilation during and after painting. This is a low-odor paint, but proper ventilation is still important.
