Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, first ensure the tap is in the closed position. You may use a soft cloth to protect the finish while gripping the old aerator with a pair of adjustable pliers, turning it counter-clockwise to remove. Clean the threaded end of the tap spout if there is any residue. Screw the new TapSparesUK aerator on by hand to ensure the threads catch properly, then tighten gently. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the internal seals. To care for your new aerator, periodically wipe the exterior with a damp cloth to prevent lime scale build-up and soak the nozzle in white vinegar annually if you live in a hard water area.
