FAQs
Are the Vionic Grove sandals waterproof?
No, they are made with leather and are not intended for use in water or wet conditions.
What is VIO MOTION Technology?
It is a specialized biomechanical design that includes contoured arch support, deep heel cups, and cushioning to improve whole-body alignment.
Do I need to size up or down?
These sandals generally fit true to size. Refer to standard UK sizing for the best fit.
Are these suitable for wide feet?
The contouring is designed for average foot shapes, but the leather material may provide some natural flexibility over time.
How should I clean the footbed?
Wipe the footbed with a slightly damp, soft cloth and allow it to air dry naturally away from direct heat.
Troubleshooting
Feeling pressure in the arch area
This is normal for users new to orthotics. Limit wear to 2-3 hours for the first few days to let the arch support adjust.
Leather looks dull
Gently wipe with a soft cloth and apply a high-quality leather cream or conditioner appropriate for the finish.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Excellent orthotic-grade arch support
- Deep heel cup provides superior stability
- High-quality leather construction
- Shock-absorbing cushioning for all-day wear
Cons
- Thong design may not be preferred by all users
- Limited to casual use cases
- Requires breaking in for optimal comfort
Setup, Compatibility & Care
There is no complex setup for these sandals; however, Vionic suggests a break-in period if you are new to orthotic footwear. Wear them for a few hours at a time during the first week to allow your feet to adjust to the arch support.
Care Instructions:
- Clean the leather upper using a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid submerging the sandals in water, as this can damage the structural integrity of the leather.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
- Use a professional leather conditioner occasionally to maintain the suppleness of the material.
