Yes, the Osterley series is designed to fit standard UK sizing, though the elasticated laces allow for slight adjustment.
These pumps are best suited for office environments and light walking. They are not intended for long-distance urban hiking.
Use a high-quality neutral or black leather cream to nourish the leather; avoid harsh chemicals or standard shoe polishes that may contain wax unsuitable for premium leather.
The elasticated lacing is integrated into the design for a streamlined fit. If damage occurs, it is recommended to have them professionally serviced by a cobbler.
Apply a leather-safe water-repellent spray before first use to add a protective barrier against moisture.
Wear the shoes for short periods indoors to allow the natural leather to soften and mold to your foot shape.
Consider using thin adhesive heel grips if you are between sizes or have narrow heels.
Use a matching black leather polish to buff out minor scuffs and restore the shoe's luster.
Initial Setup: No formal setup is required. Ensure you verify the UK size 5 fit upon arrival by wearing them with the hosiery or socks you plan to use most frequently to ensure optimal comfort.
Compatibility: These pumps pair best with tailored workwear, such as cigarette trousers or shift dresses. They are ideal for business-casual to formal dress codes.
