FAQs

How do I clean the hob?

Use a non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth to wipe the hob surface after each use. Remove the burner caps and pan supports to clean them separately. Avoid using abrasive pads that can scratch the surface.

How often should I clean the oven?

Clean the oven after each use to prevent food buildup. The catalytic liners will help with this; however, you still need to wipe down any spills or splatters.

What should I do if a flame goes out on the hob?

The flame failure device will cut off the gas supply. Turn off the burner, wait a few minutes, and then try to reignite it. If the problem persists, contact a qualified gas engineer.

What type of fuel does this cooker use?

This is a dual-fuel cooker. The hob uses gas, and the ovens are electric.

What is the warranty period?

Please refer to the warranty information that came with your product. You may need to register your product to activate the warranty.

How do I set the timer?

Follow the instructions in the user manual to set the timer. This typically involves using the buttons or controls on the display panel.

Can I use the oven and grill simultaneously?

Yes, you can use the oven and grill at the same time, but be mindful of the heat generated.

Troubleshooting

Oven not heating

Check the power supply to the oven, and ensure the temperature setting is correct. Check the fuse or circuit breaker. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician.

Hob burners not igniting

Ensure the gas supply is turned on. Check that the burner caps are correctly positioned. Clean the burner ports with a pin or wire if blocked. If the electronic ignition is not working, check the power supply.

Oven light not working

Replace the oven light bulb. Check the bulb type in the user manual and ensure it's compatible.

Timer not functioning correctly

Consult the user manual to reset the timer. Make sure that the correct time is set. Check the battery if the timer is battery operated.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

  1. Installation: The Rangemaster Nexus must be installed by a qualified professional, especially for the gas hob connection. Ensure the appliance is level using the adjustable feet.
