FAQs

Are these shoes machine washable?

No, machine washing can damage the leather and the internal cushioning. Use a damp cloth for spot cleaning.

Does the elastic lace system require tying?

No, the elastic laces are a static, slip-on design meant to provide a secure fit without the need for manual tying.

What age group is the 8.5 UK size intended for?

This size is categorized under the infant range, typically fitting toddlers approximately 12 to 18 months old, though this can vary by individual foot growth.

Can these shoes be worn outdoors?

Yes, they are designed for standard outdoor play, though the white finish may require more frequent cleaning when used on grass or dirt.

Is the material real leather?

Yes, these trainers are constructed with leather, which provides a durable, structured support system for infant feet.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty putting the shoe on the infant's foot

Ensure the elastic laces are fully extended and the tongue is pulled forward before inserting the foot.

Scuff marks on the white leather

Gently rub the area with a soft cloth dipped in a mixture of mild soap and water, then wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Shoe feels too tight on the top of the foot

Verify the sizing matches the child's current foot measurements; adjust or stretch the elastic laces gently to relieve tension.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The elastic lace system is pre-configured for a snug fit out of the box. Simply slip the shoe over the infant's foot, ensuring the tongue is centered.
Compatibility: These shoes are sized for infants and should be worn with thin, breathable cotton socks to optimize fit and moisture management.
Care: To keep the leather clean, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth or a mild leather-safe cleaner after outdoor use. Do not submerge the shoes in water or place them in a washing machine, as this can degrade the leather and adhesive integrity. Air dry at room temperature away from direct heat sources to prevent material cracking.
