Full details
The XFORT Viper Fixed Cable Window Restrictor is a vital device for enhancing the safety and security of windows. It limits the opening distance to 100mm, preventing falls and unauthorized access, making it ideal for child safety. This restrictor is suitable for all window types including uPVC, aluminium, wooden, and metal profiles. Its fixed design means it cannot be unlocked, making it perfect for environments where windows should not be fully opened, such as hospitals, care homes, nurseries, schools, hotels, high-rise apartments, and upstairs bedrooms. The restrictor provides essential ventilation while maintaining security. It includes multi-substrate fixing screws for secure attachment to various window types. XFORT is a brand synonymous with quality and innovation, aiming to make DIY more accessible. The restrictor is constructed from a durable 20cm hardened steel cable that can withstand forces over 1000N (1kN), exceeding EN 16281 strength test requirements.
