Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Hotter Dorset shoes remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: While the padded insole offers immediate comfort, allow a few days of light wear for the premium leather to naturally conform to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather surface regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For deeper cleaning, use a specialized leather cream or conditioner recommended for smooth leathers.
- Moisture Protection: Avoid submerging the shoes in water. If they become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the leather from cracking.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees if possible to maintain the shape of the loafer when not in use.
