FAQs
How do the lights in the shoes work?
The lights are motion-activated and turn on with each step your child takes. They are designed to add a fun visual element during play.
Can I wash these shoes in a washing machine?
It is not recommended to machine wash these shoes, as it can damage the light-up components and the materials. Hand washing with a damp cloth is the preferred cleaning method.
How long do the lights typically last?
The lifespan of the lights depends on usage frequency and intensity. They are powered by internal, non-replaceable batteries.
Are these shoes suitable for running or sports?
These shoes are designed for casual wear and light play. While they offer good cushioning and grip, they are not specialized for high-impact sports or rigorous athletic activities.
What is the closure system?
The shoes feature elastic laces that provide a flexible fit, combined with a hook-and-loop closure strap for easy adjustment and secure fastening.
What kind of cushioning do these shoes offer?
They utilize adidas' Cloudfoam technology in the midsole, which provides ultra-soft cushioning for exceptional comfort throughout the day.
What is the benefit of the non-marking outsole?
The non-marking outsole provides reliable traction and stability on various surfaces without leaving scuff marks, making them ideal for indoor play areas and most outdoor environments.
Troubleshooting
Lights are not working
Ensure the child has been walking or moving in the shoes. The lights are motion-activated and may require sufficient movement to illuminate. If they still do not work after significant activity, the battery may be depleted.
Shoes feel too tight or loose
Adjust the hook-and-loop closure for a secure but comfortable fit. The elastic laces offer a snug feel, but the primary adjustment comes from the strap.
Dirt or debris on the outsole
Use a soft brush or damp cloth to gently remove dirt. Ensure the non-marking outsole remains clean for optimal grip.
Discoloration on the upper
Wipe gently with a damp cloth and mild soap. For stubborn marks, a specialized shoe cleaner for textiles may be used sparingly, testing on an inconspicuous area first.
