Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The football arrives deflated. Use a standard football pump with a suitable needle to inflate it to the recommended pressure, typically indicated on the ball itself or in the product packaging. Ensure the needle is moist before insertion to prevent damage to the valve.
Compatibility: This is a Size 3 football, specifically designed for younger players aged 8 and under, or for indoor play where a smaller ball is preferred. It is FIFA Quality certified for use on grass pitches in official matches and training.
Care: To maintain the ball's performance and longevity:
- Cleaning: Clean the ball with a damp cloth after use, especially if it has been used on wet or muddy surfaces. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the ball to air dry naturally. Do not expose it to direct heat sources like radiators or excessive sunlight, as this can degrade the material and affect air retention.
- Storage: Store the ball in a cool, dry place, away from sharp objects. It is best stored slightly deflated to relieve pressure on the bladder and seams.
- Inflation: Use a pressure gauge to ensure the ball is inflated to the correct PSI. Over-inflation can damage the ball, while under-inflation affects performance.
