Setup, Compatibility & Care
Being a dressing gown, there's no complex setup or compatibility concerns. The focus lies entirely on proper care to maintain its luxurious feel and extend its lifespan.
Care Instructions
Following these guidelines will help preserve the softness and quality of your ribbed fleece dressing gown:
- Before First Use: It's recommended to wash the dressing gown before its first wear to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Washing: Machine wash cold (30°C or 85°F) on a gentle cycle with like colors. Using cold water helps prevent shrinking and maintains the fabric's integrity.
- Detergent: Use a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, which can damage the fleece fibers.
- Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting or air dry by laying flat or hanging. High heat can melt the fleece fibers, leading to stiffness or pilling. Air drying is often the best option for preserving softness.
- Avoid Fabric Softeners: Contrary to popular belief, fabric softeners can build up on fleece fibers, making them less soft and reducing their breathability. It's best to avoid them.
- Do Not Iron: The fleece material does not require ironing and can be damaged by direct heat from an iron.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid compressing it excessively to maintain its plushness.
