Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced snugly but not too tight, allowing for full foot circulation and a secure fit. Experiment with lacing patterns to find what feels most comfortable and supportive for your foot shape.
- Break-in: Like most high-performance boots, these may require a short break-in period. Wear them for a few light training sessions before a competitive match to allow the materials to mold to your foot.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed with a ControlFrame 2.0 firm ground outsole for optimal performance on firm ground (FG) natural grass surfaces. Using them on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor (IC) surfaces is not recommended as it can compromise traction, damage the studs, and potentially void any product warranties.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off excess dirt and mud with a soft brush or damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Always air dry your boots at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper to help maintain their shape.
- Refer to product instructions: Always consult the specific care instructions provided with your boots for the most accurate and product-specific guidance.
