Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation: Before applying, ensure the area to be filled is sanded smooth, clean, dry, and free from wax and dust. This is crucial for proper adhesion.
Application: The filler is ready to use. Apply directly to the defect using a filling knife. Smooth off with the knife, slightly overfilling to allow for sanding.
Drying Time: The filler is quick drying, typically ready for sanding within a short period, depending on application thickness and ambient conditions.
Finishing: Once dry and sanded, the filler can be dyed, varnished, or painted to match the surrounding wood.
Compatibility: Can be used under all Rustins paints and varnishes. For best results and to ensure compatibility, always test on an inconspicuous area first to check that the finish is acceptable.
