FAQs

Will this fit a standard folding camping chair?

No, this cover is specifically designed for the circular, 'moon' style chair frames.

Can I leave this on the chair while it is in the back of my truck?

Yes, the elasticated fit is perfect for keeping your chair clean from road grime during transit.

Is the material breathable?

No, it is a waterproof barrier. You should ensure the chair is dry before covering it for long periods.

How do I store the cover when not in use?

Simply fold it into a small square or roll it up; it takes up very little space in your tackle bag.

Can I machine wash the cover?

We recommend hand-washing only to protect the waterproof coating and structural integrity of the fabric.

Troubleshooting

Cover feels loose or slides off in wind

Ensure the elasticated hem is pulled completely over the bottom edge of the chair frame to create a tension seal.

Water pooling on the seat surface

Check that the chair frame is fully expanded and the cover is centered correctly so the fabric remains taut.

Material stiffness

Avoid storing the cover in extremely high heat; keep it in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Durable 210D waterproof fabric
Easy to install thanks to the elasticated design
Compact and lightweight for convenient packing
Effective protection against rain and dirt
Versatile fit across most moon chair models

Cons

Not suitable for oversized or non-standard luxury chair frames
Requires proper drying to avoid potential mold buildup inside
Hand-wash only to preserve the waterproof coating

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: identify the front and back of the cover, then slip the elasticated brim over the seat and backrest frame. For compatibility, this cover is specifically sized for the Cult DPM Deluxe Comfort Chair but accommodates other 'moon' style circular frames. To care for the cover, wipe away any mud with a damp cloth after use. If the cover becomes heavily soiled, hand-wash it with mild soap and cold water. Always allow the cover to air dry completely before folding it for storage to maintain the integrity of the waterproof material.
