FAQs
What type of activities are these shorts best suited for?
These shorts are ideal for hiking, trekking, camping, trail running, and general outdoor adventures where comfort, freedom of movement, and secure storage are important.
How effective is the DWR coating?
The DWR coating provides resistance to light rain and splashes, helping to keep you dry. It is not a substitute for waterproof gear in heavy or prolonged wet conditions.
Can I wear these for casual everyday use?
Yes, while designed for adventure, the comfortable fit and material make them suitable for casual wear, especially if you appreciate the utility and style.
How do I adjust the waistband?
The shorts have an internal adjuster system and belt loops. You can tighten or loosen the fit using the internal adjusters or by using a belt through the loops.
What is the material of the shorts?
The shorts are made from polyester, known for its durability and quick-drying properties.
Are the pockets deep enough for a smartphone?
The shorts feature multiple zip pockets, including cargo and side pockets, which are generally designed to securely hold most standard-sized smartphones and other essentials.
Troubleshooting
Shorts feel too tight or loose
Utilize the inner waistband adjusters and belt loops to achieve a personalized and secure fit.
Water repellency seems reduced
Consider re-applying a DWR treatment after several washes, following product instructions for the treatment. Ensure proper washing and avoid fabric softeners.
Zip pocket feels stiff
Gently clean the zipper teeth with a soft brush and a small amount of water or mild soap. Ensure no debris is caught in the zipper track.
