Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces before putting on the boots. Once your foot is comfortably inside, tighten the laces evenly from the toes upwards, securing them firmly.
- Tongue Adjustment: Position the foldover tongue to cover the laces for a clean striking surface, securing it with the integrated strap.
- Break-In: Wear the boots for short periods during practice sessions to allow them to mold to your feet before competitive play. This will enhance comfort and reduce the risk of blisters.
Compatibility
These boots feature a Firm Ground (FG) soleplate, specifically designed for use on natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or very soft, muddy ground (SG) can lead to accelerated wear, reduced performance, and potential injury.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning After Use: After each match or training session, wipe off any mud or dirt using a damp cloth. For stubborn mud, a soft brush can be used on the soleplate.
- Deep Cleaning: For a more thorough clean, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive materials that could damage the synthetic upper.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can cause the materials to crack or shrink.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled paper inside to help maintain their shape.
