Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unfold the ramp to its full length.
- Position the transition plate securely against the edge of the step or threshold.
- Ensure the ramp lies flat on the ground, with no gaps or instability.
- For added security, utilize the integrated safety pins or hinges as designed.
Compatibility:
This ramp is compatible with most standard wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, strollers, and trolleys. It is designed to overcome small height differences, such as single steps, curbs, or raised thresholds, typically up to a few inches high. Ensure the surface where the ramp meets the ground is relatively even for optimal stability.
Care:
- Clean the ramp regularly with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the non-slip surface.
- Inspect the hinges, safety pins, and aluminium frame periodically for any signs of wear or damage.
- Store the ramp in a dry place when not in use to prevent corrosion.
