No, this windbreaker is designed primarily for wind resistance and offers only light water resistance. It will protect you from light drizzle but is not suitable for heavy rain.
This windbreaker provides protection from wind chill but offers limited insulation. For very cold temperatures, it's recommended to layer it over warmer base layers or wear a more insulated jacket.
Machine wash cold with like colours on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean to maintain the fabric's performance and integrity.
Its lightweight and stretch design make it ideal for running, hiking, cycling, golfing, and other outdoor athletic activities where wind protection and freedom of movement are key. It's also great for casual everyday wear in mild, breezy conditions.
While this specific guide is for the black adult male version, Under Armour typically offers a range of colours and sizes for their windbreakers. Check the product listings for other available variants.
While designed for wind resistance, this windbreaker is optimized for light to moderate winds. For strong gusts or harsh weather, consider layering it with a more robust outer shell or opting for a heavier-duty jacket.
Polyester is generally wrinkle-resistant. Ensure you tumble dry on low heat and remove the garment promptly once the cycle is complete. Hanging it immediately can help prevent wrinkles. A light steam can also smooth out any minor creases.
Improper care, especially using high heat during washing or drying, can degrade the stretch properties of polyester. Always wash in cold water and tumble dry on low or air dry to maintain the fabric's elasticity. Avoid harsh chemicals like bleach.
This windbreaker requires no special setup; simply wear it as an outer layer. It is highly compatible with most athletic wear and casual clothing, serving as an ideal layer over t-shirts, long-sleeve tops, or light sweaters. For proper care, machine wash the windbreaker in cold water with similar colours. Use a gentle cycle and avoid bleach. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry to preserve the fabric's integrity and stretch properties. Do not iron or dry clean to prevent damage to the polyester material. Always refer to the garment's care label for the most accurate instructions.
