Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unroll the rug completely in its intended location. Allow it to lay flat for a few hours or overnight to allow creases from shipping to relax. You may place heavy objects on the corners to help speed up this process.
Compatibility: This rug is designed for indoor use and is compatible with most floor types, including hardwood, tile, and laminate. It can be used with underfloor heating, provided the heating system is used according to manufacturer instructions.
Care:
- Regular Vacuuming: Vacuum regularly using a standard vacuum cleaner. For rugs with a pile, vacuum in the direction of the pile. Avoid using a vacuum with a beater bar if possible, or set it to the highest setting.
- Spot Cleaning: For small stains, immediately blot the affected area with a clean, dry cloth. Use a small amount of mild detergent mixed with water for tougher spots. Blot gently, do not rub. Work from the outside of the stain inward. Rinse the area by blotting with a clean, damp cloth and allow to air dry completely.
- Deep Cleaning: For more thorough cleaning, professional rug cleaning is recommended. Avoid machine washing or harsh chemical cleaners.
