Can I upgrade the RAM on this laptop?

Yes, the laptop has one SO-DIMM slot available for upgrades, in addition to the 8GB of RAM that is likely on-board. You can potentially upgrade to a higher capacity module depending on the maximum supported by the system.

What is the charging speed and method?

The laptop supports PD (Power Delivery) fast charging via its USB-C port. It comes with an AC adapter with an output of 68W, capable of fast charging.

What is the warranty period for this laptop?

Warranty information can vary by region and retailer. Please refer to the documentation included with your purchase or contact ASUS customer support for specific warranty details.

How do I use the webcam privacy shutter?

There is a physical slider integrated near the webcam lens. Slide it to cover the lens for immediate privacy when not in use.

Troubleshooting

Laptop does not power on

Ensure the AC adapter is securely connected to both the laptop and a working power outlet. Try a different outlet. If the battery is depleted, allow it to charge for at least 15 minutes before attempting to power on.

Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection issues

Restart the laptop. Check if Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled in Windows settings. Update the wireless drivers through Device Manager or the ASUS support website. Ensure you are within range of your router.

Slow performance or freezing

Close unnecessary applications running in the background. Restart the laptop. Check Task Manager for processes consuming high CPU or memory. Ensure Windows and all drivers are up to date. Consider running a disk cleanup.

Webcam not working

Ensure the privacy shutter is open. Check if the webcam is enabled in Windows privacy settings and grant permissions to applications. Update webcam drivers via Device Manager.

Display issues (flickering, dim)

Adjust screen brightness settings. Update graphics drivers from the AMD website or ASUS support. If flickering persists, check display cable connections (if applicable externally) or contact support.
