Full details
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Pro tablet is designed for children aged 6 to 12, offering a safe and engaging digital experience with robust parental controls. Its key win is providing access to a vast library of age-appropriate content via Amazon Kids+ and a durable design, all powered by a 30% faster processor and up to 13 hours of battery life. A key caveat is that content availability may vary by location and date, so it's important to verify regional access for specific titles.

Troubleshooting
Tablet won't turn on or is unresponsive.
Ensure the tablet is fully charged. If still unresponsive, press and hold the power button for 20-40 seconds until the device restarts.
Content from Amazon Kids+ is not loading or playing.
Check your Wi-Fi connection and ensure it's stable. Go to 'Settings' > 'Wi-Fi' to verify. If connected, try clearing the app cache for the Kids+ app or restart the tablet. Also, verify your Amazon Kids+ subscription is active.
Parental controls are not applying correctly.
Access the online Parent Dashboard via a web browser and double-check all settings for the specific child's profile. Ensure the tablet is connected to the internet to sync the latest control settings. Sometimes, a tablet restart can help apply new settings.
Tablet storage is full, and I can't download more content.
Go to 'Settings' > 'Storage' to see what's taking up space. Delete unused apps or downloaded videos/books. Consider adding a microSD card (up to 1 TB) for additional storage, then move eligible content to the card via 'Settings' > 'Storage'.
Battery drains quickly.
Reduce screen brightness, close unused apps running in the background, and disable Wi-Fi when not needed. Ensure the device software is updated, as updates often include battery optimizations. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
