Yes, the PVC construction is weather-resistant and designed to handle outdoor conditions, including rain and damp weather.
While it can be placed on carpet, the anti-slip base is optimized for hard, smooth floors. You may find it shifts more easily on high-pile carpets.
Use a low-temperature cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach that could degrade the PVC material.
While the materials are durable, prolonged exposure to intense, direct UV light can cause color fading over several years.
It is excellent for trapping fine dirt, sand, and moisture. For extremely heavy, thick mud, you may need to shake it out more frequently.
Ensure the floor beneath the mat is completely clean and dry, as dust or moisture can affect the grip of the anti-slip base.
Use a garden hose with moderate pressure to spray the mat from both sides, or place it in a washing machine on a gentle cycle.
Lay the mat flat in a warm area for a few hours to allow the PVC to relax and regain its shape.
Setting up the Artsy Mats Pixels Doormat is straightforward; simply place it on a flat, dry surface where you want to capture debris. It is compatible with wood, tile, laminate, and concrete flooring. To maintain the mat, you can perform a quick refresh by shaking it out or hosing it down with water. For a deeper clean, the mat is machine washable, allowing you to remove stubborn grime and restore its original appearance. Always ensure the mat is completely dry after washing before placing it back onto indoor flooring to prevent moisture buildup underneath.
