Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Levi's 318 jeans retain their shape and the effectiveness of the internal panel, follow these care guidelines:
- Washing: Turn the jeans inside out before placing them in the machine to protect the fabric finish and the internal panel.
- Temperature: Wash in cold water on a delicate cycle to prevent the stretch fibers from breaking down under heat.
- Drying: Air-dry whenever possible. If you must use a dryer, choose a low-heat setting; high heat is the primary cause of elastic fatigue in stretch denim.
- Detergent: Use mild detergents. Avoid bleach or heavy fabric softeners that can coat the fibers and interfere with the stretch recovery properties.
- Storage: Store flat or hung by the waistband to keep the leg shape consistent.
