The Julian Small Double Montessori Bed is an ideal sleep solution for toddlers and young children transitioning to their first independent bed, offering a low-profile design that encourages autonomy while ensuring safety. Its key benefit is the Montessori-inspired low-to-the-ground frame that allows children to climb in and out independently, fostering confidence and freedom of movement; however, parents should note that its non-standard small double dimensions require specific mattress sizing, which may limit bedding options compared to a traditional twin bed.

No, this bed is designed for a small double mattress. A standard single will be too small and create dangerous gaps.
The total height of the bed is 69.1cm.
While possible, modifying the finish may void the warranty and could introduce chemicals into your child's sleep environment.
No, the mattress is sold separately.
Its design features rattan panels which complement Scandi, coastal, and boho-inspired bedroom aesthetics.
Yes, the Montessori design focuses on a low-to-the-ground profile to foster child independence and ease of access.
Check all connection points and tighten bolts, ensuring the bed is on a level, flat surface.
Confirm that the mattress dimensions match standard small double specifications and ensure the internal frame supports are properly positioned.
To assemble the bed, ensure you have a clear floor space and a basic set of household tools. Follow the included instructions to secure the side panels and ensure the frame is level. For compatibility, you must source a mattress specifically sized for a small double bed (typically 120cm x 190cm) to ensure a snug fit within the frame. To care for the bed, use a damp, soft cloth to wipe down the wooden frame and periodically dust the rattan panels with a dry brush to keep them looking clean and airy. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may damage the finish of the white wood and the integrity of the rattan material.
