Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The watch is powered by a Swiss Made Movement. For automatic watches, ensure it is wound by wearing it for a significant part of the day or by manually winding the crown. For quartz watches, the initial setup involves setting the correct time and date using the crown.
Compatibility: This watch is a standalone analog timepiece and does not have electronic compatibility requirements.
Care: To maintain the pristine condition of your Raymond Weil Tango watch:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. For stubborn grime on the stainless steel, a very mild soap solution can be used sparingly, followed by thorough drying.
- Water Resistance: While rated at 30 meters, avoid submerging the watch. Ensure the crown is screwed down after setting the time and date to maintain water resistance. Exposure to perfumes, cosmetics, and salt water should be avoided.
- Storage: Store the watch in its original gift box or a soft pouch when not in use to prevent scratches.
- Service: It is recommended to have the watch serviced by an authorized Raymond Weil service center every 2-3 years to ensure the longevity of the movement and seals.
