Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting Up
- Winding: To start the watch, manually wind the crown (the button on the side) clockwise about 20-30 times. This provides initial power.
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to the furthest position. Rotate the crown to set the correct time. Push the crown back in to its original position.
- Automatic Winding: The watch is an automatic watch and winds itself through the movement of your wrist during wear. If the watch stops, manually wind it again.
Compatibility
The watch is compatible with all wrist sizes due to the adjustable bracelet. The automatic movement does not require external compatibility considerations.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the watch case and bracelet. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Water Resistance: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance. Avoid extreme temperature changes.
- Servicing: Have the watch serviced by a professional watchmaker every few years to ensure optimal performance. This includes cleaning and lubricating the movement.
- Storage: When not in use, store the watch in a safe place to prevent scratches. Consider using a watch winder to keep the automatic movement running.
