Most users find the Handball Spezial fits true to size, though if you prefer a thicker sock, you may consider sizing up slightly.
No, machine washing will likely damage the suede material and affect the integrity of the adhesive used in the sole.
While originally designed as court shoes, modern Handball Spezial models are primarily marketed as lifestyle trainers; they may lack the high-impact cushioning required for professional court sports.
Apply a high-quality, silicone-free suede protector spray before wearing them outdoors.
The product is listed as using suede, which is an animal-derived material, and therefore they are not vegan.
Use a specialized suede brush to gently scrub the surface in one direction to restore the material's texture.
Gently brush the affected area with a soft-bristle brush, ensuring you do not use water.
Wipe the rubber edges with a damp cloth and mild soap, being careful not to let water touch the suede sections.
To ensure your Handball Spezial trainers last as long as possible, it is essential to treat the suede with a protective water and stain repellent spray before the first use. If the shoes become dirty, use a dedicated suede brush to gently lift dirt and restore the nap of the material. Avoid machine washing or drying, as these processes can shrink the suede and damage the structure. For storage, keep the sneakers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the colors to fade over time.
