FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for running?

The Nike Promina is designed for casual, everyday wear and does not feature the technical support required for long-distance running or high-impact training.

How should I clean the white sections?

Use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, dabbing the area gently until the dirt is removed. Avoid harsh chemicals.

What is the sizing fit like?

These trainers generally follow standard UK sizing for adult women; however, if you plan to wear thick socks, you may want to consider your standard fit preferences.

Can I put these in the washing machine?

No, machine washing can damage the adhesive and materials of the shoes. Hand cleaning is recommended.

Are these shoes waterproof?

They are not waterproof. We recommend avoiding walking in heavy rain to preserve the materials and appearance.

Troubleshooting

Shoes feel too snug after long use

Feet often swell during the day; try loosening the laces slightly to accommodate the natural change in foot volume.

Surface dirt accumulation

Use a specialized sneaker cleaning wipe or a damp microfiber cloth to gently buff away surface marks on the grey and white panels.

Slippage in the heel

Ensure the laces are tied securely using a runner's loop if necessary to lock the heel in place.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Versatile grey and white color scheme matches most wardrobes
Durable construction suitable for daily wear
Lightweight and comfortable for all-day use
Modern, low-profile aesthetic

Cons

Not intended for specialized high-performance sports
Lighter colors may require more frequent cleaning
Limited to casual style applications

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Nike Promina trainers remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:

Fit Check: Ensure you are wearing the appropriate size; the UK 5 variant offers a standard fit. Use thin-to-medium socks for the best internal volume management.
Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt. For spot cleaning, apply a small amount of mild detergent with a damp cloth, avoiding abrasive scrubbing to protect the fabric finish.
Storage: Keep the shoes in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent material degradation or color fading.
Drying: Never submerge the shoes or machine wash them. Air dry naturally away from heat sources like radiators, which can warp the materials.
