No, the Bravich Candy Folding Chair comes fully assembled and is ready for use immediately.
Can this chair be used outdoors?
While it can be used on a patio, it is not weather-proof and should be stored indoors to prevent rust on the steel frame and damage to the faux leather.
How flat does it fold?
The chair folds almost completely flat, allowing it to slide easily into narrow gaps behind doors, into closets, or under standard bed frames.
What is the weight limit?
The chair is constructed with a robust steel frame designed to support standard adult body weights comfortably under normal use.
Is the fabric fire retardant?
The materials meet standard safety regulations for indoor home furniture; please check the specific product label attached to the chair for compliance details.
Are there other colors available?
Yes, this series is available in several colors including Yellow, Brown, and Pink to suit different interior decors.
Troubleshooting
Chair frame feels stiff when opening
Ensure the locking mechanism is not obstructed by debris; a light application of silicone lubricant to the joints can improve movement.
Chair wobble on hard flooring
Check that the floor is level and ensure the folding frame is fully extended and locked in its maximum open position.
Faux leather surface appears dull
Use a specialized vinyl or leather conditioner designed for synthetic materials to restore the luster and prevent cracking.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Ultra-compact storage profile when folded
- Easy-to-clean faux leather material
- No assembly needed right out of the box
- Sturdy powder-coated steel construction
- Comfortable padding for a folding chair
Cons
- Not suitable for outdoor storage in wet weather
- Limited aesthetic integration compared to fixed wooden chairs
- Folding mechanism may require careful handling to avoid finger pinching
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the chair is straightforward; simply grip the top of the backrest and the seat to pull them apart until the frame clicks into the locked position. To fold, apply gentle pressure on the release mechanism and collapse the frame until the seat sits flush against the back legs.
Care Instructions
- Regularly wipe the faux leather with a damp, soft cloth to remove dust and crumbs.
- Use a mild soap solution for deep cleaning, but avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges that could damage the surface.
- Ensure the frame is completely dry before storing it in a confined space to maintain the integrity of the powder coating.
- Check the hinges periodically to ensure they remain free of debris for a smooth folding action.
