FAQs
Can I reuse the Oasis Posy Pad?
No, this product is designed for single use as the integrity of the foam structure breaks down once stems are inserted.
Does the foam contain preservative?
The foam is pH balanced to support flower health, but we recommend adding flower food to your soaking water for best results.
How do I avoid air pockets in the foam?
Place the pad on the water surface and let it sink naturally at its own pace. Avoid pushing it down.
Is the base waterproof?
Yes, the base is made of a super-strong, waterproof material that prevents leaks and protects table surfaces.
What is the diameter of this product?
This specific model has a diameter of 13cm.
Troubleshooting
Flowers wilting quickly
Ensure the foam was fully saturated before insertion. If the foam dries out, the stems lose their water source.
Foam feels dry in the center
Do not submerge the foam by force; let it float on top of the water until it sinks on its own to ensure all air is displaced.
Arrangement is sliding on the table
Wipe the surface of the table and the anti-slip feet of the base with a slightly damp cloth to remove dust and improve grip.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Secure, non-slip base prevents accidental movement
- Waterproof backing protects table surfaces from moisture
- Excellent hydration capability increases flower longevity
- Pre-cut design saves time for both pros and hobbyists
Cons
- Fixed 13cm size is not adjustable for larger designs
- Requires careful initial soaking to ensure full saturation
- Single-use product designed for disposable arrangements
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare the posy pad, place it on the surface of clean water and wait for the foam to become fully dark green throughout. Avoid forcing the foam into the water, as this can result in dry patches. Once saturated, you can insert your stems directly into the foam. Because the base is waterproof, you do not need an additional liner, though ensure the anti-slip feet are clean before placing the unit on polished furniture. To maintain the life of your flowers, keep the reservoir topped up if the environment is particularly warm, and ensure the foam remains moist throughout the event.
