Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Ariat boots last for years, proper care is essential:
- Break-in: Wear them around the house with thick socks for short periods initially to allow the leather to mold to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush or dry cloth to remove dirt and dust after each use. For deeper cleaning, apply a leather cleaner specifically formulated for western boots.
- Conditioning: Periodically apply a quality leather conditioner to maintain suppleness and prevent cracking, especially if worn in dry environments.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme heat sources, which can dry out the leather and weaken the stitching.
- Insole Care: If the cushioning insole becomes worn or damp, remove it to air dry or replace it with a new Ariat-compatible insert for continued comfort.
