FAQs

Can these boots be used on indoor courts?

No, these are FGMG (Firm Ground/Multi-Ground) boots designed for outdoor grass and artificial grass surfaces. They will not provide adequate grip on smooth indoor surfaces.

How do I ensure I have the right size?

The F50 series has a snug, performance fit. We recommend wearing the same socks you would use for a match when trying them on to ensure enough room for the toes.

Are these boots waterproof?

The synthetic upper is water-resistant, keeping your feet dry during light rain, but they are not fully waterproof and should be dried properly after wet conditions.

Do I need to break these in?

While the synthetic material is flexible, we recommend wearing them for light training sessions before using them in a competitive match to ensure comfort.

What is the benefit of the FGMG soleplate?

The FGMG soleplate uses hybrid stud technology to offer optimal traction on both firm natural grass and the synthetic fibers of artificial pitches.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel slippery on wet artificial grass

Ensure the studs are clean of debris, as packed mud or rubber pellets can reduce the grip of the Sprintplate 360 pattern.

Floating tongue moves during play

Re-lace the boots ensuring the laces pass through the central loop on the tongue, which helps anchor it in place.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Versatile soleplate works well on both grass and artificial turf
Lightweight construction promotes faster acceleration
Messi-inspired design offers a professional aesthetic
High level of lockdown and stability for quick turns
Sustainable design using recycled materials

Cons

Snug fit may be tight for children with wider feet
Laced setup requires consistent adjustment for the best fit
Flashy colorway may be prone to showing mud or stains

Setup, Compatibility & Care

For the best performance, ensure the laces are tightened evenly from the bottom eyelets to the top to secure the floating tongue. These boots are compatible with standard firm ground (FG) and artificial grass (MG) surfaces. To extend the life of the boots, remove loose mud after every game using a soft brush. Wipe the HybridTouch upper with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid soaking the boots or using harsh chemicals. Always allow the boots to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can crack the synthetic materials.
