The primary benefit is their all-day comfort, provided by a plush, flexible foam footbed and a design that minimizes irritation.
While they can be worn in damp conditions, they are not specifically designed for prolonged water immersion. For swimming or heavy water play, dedicated water shoes might be more appropriate.
The child's foot should fit comfortably within the footbed, with a little room for growth. The ankle strap should provide a secure fit without digging into the skin. It's best to measure your child's foot and compare it to the size chart.
While possible, they are designed to be worn barefoot for maximum comfort and to utilize the soft strap and hidden seam features.
The slides are primarily made from synthetic materials, including a flexible foam footbed and a synthetic strap.
They are built with durable synthetic materials suitable for everyday toddler activities. The construction is designed to withstand typical wear and tear.
The ankle strap provides an additional point of adjustment to ensure a secure and locked-in fit, preventing the slides from slipping off during movement.
Check the size against your child's current foot measurement. Ensure the ankle strap is adjusted correctly for a secure but comfortable fit. The main strap is fixed, so sizing is crucial.
Verify the correct size is being used. Ensure the hidden seams are lying flat against the foot. Allow for a brief break-in period if necessary, but discontinue use if irritation persists.
The synthetic material and foam sole offer some grip, but are not designed for heavy water activities. Use with caution on very smooth, wet surfaces. Consider alternative footwear for swimming or extensive water play.
Ensure the ankle strap is loosened before attempting to slide the foot in. The strap is designed to secure the foot once it's in place.
Setup: The Nike Kawa Slides require no setup. They are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure you have selected the correct size for your child's foot.
Compatibility: These slides are designed for infants and toddlers and are compatible with most casual children's wear. They are suitable for indoor and outdoor use during warmer weather.
Care: To clean the Nike Kawa Slides, use a damp cloth to wipe away dirt and grime. For tougher stains, a mild soap can be used, followed by rinsing with clean water. Allow the slides to air dry completely away from direct heat sources. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
