Full details
The Skechers BOBS Squad 4 - Dire Step Trainers are designed for women seeking a blend of athletic style and effortless comfort for everyday wear. Their key benefit is the Hands Free Slip-ins® technology, allowing for quick and easy on-and-off. A potential consideration is that while they offer good cushioning, they are primarily designed for casual use rather than high-impact athletic training. These trainers feature a Stretch Fit® engineered knit and synthetic upper, fixed stretch laces, and a Skechers Memory Foam™ insole for enhanced comfort.

FAQs
Are these trainers suitable for running or high-impact sports?
No, the Skechers BOBS Squad 4 - Dire Step Trainers are designed primarily for casual wear and light activities. They offer comfort and style but lack the specific support and cushioning required for intense athletic training.
How do the Hands Free Slip-ins® work?
The design incorporates a specific heel structure and cushioned collar that allows you to slide your foot in without needing to touch the shoe with your hands or bend over. The Heel Pillow® helps maintain the shoe's shape for easy entry.
Can I replace the Memory Foam™ insole?
Yes, the insole is generally removable, allowing you to replace it with your own preferred insoles or orthotics if needed for additional support or comfort.
What does 'Stretch Fit®' mean for the upper?
Stretch Fit® means the upper material is engineered to stretch and adapt to the shape of your foot, providing a comfortable, sock-like fit that moves with you.
How should I wash these trainers if they get dirty?
You can machine wash them on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Always air dry them afterward; do not use a machine dryer.
Are there other color options available?
Yes, Skechers typically offers the BOBS Sport™ Squad 4 series in a variety of colors. Please check the product listings for available colorways.
What is the 'BOBS® from Skechers®' commitment?
BOBS® from Skechers® partners with animal welfare organizations, and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of BOBS shoes helps to fund the care and adoption of animals in need.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight or loose
The Stretch Fit® upper is designed to adapt. If still uncomfortable, consider if the size is correct or if socks are too thick/thin. For minor tightness, wear them around the house for a short period to allow them to mold to your feet.
Difficulty slipping feet in
Ensure the Heel Pillow® area is not obstructed. Gently pull the back of the shoe slightly outward while inserting your foot. The Hands Free Slip-ins® feature is designed for ease but may require a slight adjustment initially.
Insole feels flat after some wear
The Skechers Memory Foam™ insole provides initial cushioning. If significant flattening occurs, consider replacing the insole with a new one for renewed comfort. Ensure the shoes are not being used for activities beyond their intended casual purpose.
Machine washing resulted in damage
Ensure you followed the machine washable instructions precisely: gentle cycle, cold water, mild detergent, and air drying. Over-agitation or high heat can damage the materials. For future washes, use a protective laundry bag.
