The Tissot PRX 40mm is an ideal choice for watch enthusiasts seeking an authentic 1970s aesthetic blended with reliable modern craftsmanship. Designed for those who value a slim, integrated-bracelet profile and a sophisticated blue dial, this watch offers versatile elegance for both casual and professional settings. While its quartz movement ensures exceptional timekeeping precision and low maintenance, potential buyers should note the 40mm fixed size may feel large on individuals with particularly slim wrists compared to smaller heritage-inspired models.

Yes, the PRX is typically rated to 100 meters (10 bar), making it suitable for swimming and showering, though it is not a professional-grade diver's watch.
Yes, but you must use the specific Tissot-designed leather straps compatible with the PRX case architecture, as standard straight-end straps will not fit.
Yes, the Tissot PRX uses scratch-resistant sapphire crystal for high durability and clarity.
Depending on usage, the quartz battery usually lasts between 2 to 3 years.
Yes, the Tissot PRX features a discreet date window, typically located at the 3 o'clock position.
The battery likely requires replacement. Visit an authorized Tissot service center to ensure the watch remains pressure-tested after the case back is opened.
Small surface-level scratches are normal for stainless steel. A professional watch jeweler can re-brush the surface to restore the original matte finish.
The stainless steel links are removable. Take the watch to a local watchmaker to have the bracelet sized specifically to your wrist circumference.
Setting the time on your Tissot PRX is straightforward: gently pull the crown out to the first click to set the time, then push it back in firmly to ensure the water-resistant seal is fully engaged. For compatibility, remember that the integrated bracelet design is specific to the PRX line, meaning you should seek official Tissot replacements if you wish to change from steel to leather. To care for your watch, rinse the stainless steel bracelet with fresh water and a soft brush periodically to remove sweat or dirt buildup from the links. Store the watch in a dry environment and avoid exposing it to strong magnetic fields to maintain optimal accuracy over time.
