The SPAX universal screw is an all-rounder suitable for various applications, including coniferous wood and common wood material plates like MDF, chipboard, and OSB boards. It is ideal for interior fittings and furniture construction, and can also be used outdoors with appropriate corrosion protection. The special thread geometry reduces screwing resistance, saving power and battery life. It also minimizes wood splitting near edges, allowing for more screws per battery charge and preventing broken wood ends. This screw features a WIROX coating for superior corrosion resistance (20 times higher than standard white zinc) and a MULTI countersunk head for easy penetration and a flush finish. The T-STAR plus drive ensures optimal force transmission and better seating, even when working overhead. With the 4CUT four-sided nib, it effectively reduces wood cracking. The typical SPAX wavy profile aids in the easy separation of wood fibers. This product is made in Germany and has TÜV certification, along with European technical accreditation for self-tapping screws as assembly components for wood (ETA-12/0114).
