Setup:
Unroll the rug and lay it flat in its desired location. Allow 24-48 hours for the rug to settle and for any creases from packaging to disappear. For best results and to prevent slipping, use a rug pad underneath, especially on hard floors. Ensure the rug pad is the same size or slightly smaller than the rug.
Compatibility:
- Underfloor Heating: Suitable for use with underfloor heating systems.
- Flooring Types: Ideal for most flooring types, including hardwood, tile, laminate, and carpet. A rug pad is recommended for all surfaces.
Care Instructions:
- Regular Vacuuming: Vacuum weekly using a standard vacuum cleaner or a robot cleaner. Avoid using a beater bar, as it can damage the pile. For rugs with a high-low pile, vacuum in the direction of the pile.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills, blot the affected area immediately with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel. Use a mild detergent mixed with water for tougher stains, blotting from the outside in. Avoid over-wetting the area.
- Deep Cleaning: For more thorough cleaning, professional cleaning is recommended periodically. Avoid harsh chemicals or steam cleaning.
- Rotation: Rotate the rug every 6-12 months to ensure even wear and prevent fading from sun exposure.
