FAQs
Is the Scion Mr Fox rug safe for children?
Yes, the rug is OEKO-TEX certified, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances, making it suitable for family homes.
Can I put this rug in my washing machine?
Yes, it is machine washable; however, please check that your machine's drum capacity is sufficient for the size of the rug before attempting to wash.
Does this rug come in other sizes?
Yes, the Scion Mr Fox collection is available in various dimensions, including 120cm x 170cm, 152cm x 230cm, and 61cm x 230cm runners.
Do I really need a rug grip?
While it has an anti-slip backing, a rug grip is recommended for optimal stability and to prevent the rug from sliding on very smooth or polished surfaces.
How do I remove a spill from the rug?
Blot the spill immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this can force the stain deeper into the fibres.
Troubleshooting
Rug does not lay flat after unrolling
Reverse-roll the rug and leave it in a warm room for 24 hours to help the fibres relax.
Rug slips on hardwood flooring
Apply a secondary rug grip pad beneath the rug to improve traction.
Loose threads appearing on the surface
Carefully trim any long, loose threads with a pair of scissors rather than pulling them.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your rug, unroll it in your desired location and ensure it lies flat. Because the rug is shipped rolled, you may need to reverse-roll it for a few hours to help it settle completely. While the rug includes an anti-slip backing, we strongly recommend placing it over a rug grip hold to prevent movement and bunching on polished wood or laminate floors. For care, vacuum regularly using a suction-only attachment to avoid damaging the fibres. When machine washing, always verify that your machine has the necessary capacity for the 185cm x 290cm dimensions; if not, use a professional laundering service to ensure thorough cleaning without straining the rug or your appliance.
