Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, position the plate against your chosen surface—such as a stall partition or tack room wall—and mark the screw holes. It is critical to use fixings suited to the substrate; for example, use heavy-duty wood screws for timber surfaces or appropriate rawl plugs for brickwork. Ensure the plate sits flush against the wall to avoid leverage stress on the screws. Regarding care, visually inspect the hook for signs of metal fatigue or bending at least once a month. If the base plate becomes loose or the hook shows deep scratches or signs of rust, remove it from service immediately and replace it to prevent hardware failure.
