Troubleshooting
Reduced absorbency over time
Avoid using fabric softeners during wash cycles, as they leave a waxy buildup that repels water.
Towels feel scratchy or stiff
Ensure you are not overloading the washing machine and consider using a small amount of white vinegar in the rinse cycle to break down detergent residue.
Loose threads appearing
Carefully trim any long loops with sharp scissors; never pull the threads as this can cause the weave to unravel.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Large, comfortable surface area for full coverage
- Soft texture enhances the post-shower experience
- Efficient moisture absorption
- Durable enough for daily, repeated use
Cons
- Requires adherence to specific washing instructions to maintain softness
- Availability of specific colours may vary based on demand
- Bulkier size requires more storage space than standard hand towels
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your bath sheets maintain their premium quality, it is recommended to wash them before the first use to remove any factory finish and improve absorbency. For ongoing care, machine wash the towels on a gentle cycle with like colors. Avoid using harsh bleaching agents or fabric softeners, as these can coat the fibers and decrease their natural absorbency over time. Tumble dry on a low setting or hang-dry to preserve the integrity of the fabric loops.
