Troubleshooting

Wardrobe doors not closing properly

Check if the wardrobe is level on the floor. Adjust hinges if necessary according to the assembly instructions. Ensure no items inside are obstructing the doors.

Assembly instructions are unclear

Refer to the Mercers Furniture website for potential video tutorials or contact customer support for clarification. Ensure all parts are laid out and identified before starting.

Wood shows minor imperfections (knots, dents)

These are natural characteristics of solid pine and are intended to enhance the rustic appeal. If significant damage is present upon arrival, contact customer service.

Wobbly or unstable structure

Ensure all screws and fixings are tightened securely. Verify that the back panels are correctly installed and secured. Check that the wardrobe is on a stable, level surface.

Pros and Cons

Authentic rustic aesthetic with visible wood grain and knots.
Hand-waxed finish enhances the natural beauty of the pine.
Unique Mexican-inspired design with black metal fittings.
Made from sustainably sourced pine.
Excellent value for a solid wood furniture piece.
Straightforward assembly process.

Cons

Requires self-assembly.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

This wardrobe is delivered flat-packed. Please ensure you have a clear space for assembly. Follow the provided step-by-step instructions carefully. Assembly typically requires basic tools (not included). It is recommended to have two people for assembly to ensure stability and ease.

Compatibility:

The wardrobe is designed as a standalone piece for bedrooms. Its rustic Mexican styling makes it particularly suitable for country, farmhouse, or traditional interior designs. Ensure the intended space can accommodate its dimensions: H:190.0 x W:100.0 x D:51.0 cm.

Care:

To maintain the hand-waxed finish and the natural beauty of the pine, dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish and the wood. For spills, wipe immediately with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Over time, you may wish to re-apply a furniture wax to refresh the finish and protect the wood.
