FAQs

What fabric is the Tokyo Plush Divan Base in Emerald?

The Emerald variant is upholstered in a luxurious Plush Velvet fabric, known for its soft texture and rich appearance.

How do I choose the number of drawers?

The number of drawers (none, 2, or 4) is determined by the specific product title you select. Please check the product details carefully before purchasing.

Is assembly required?

Yes, assembly is required. The base needs to be put together, and the headboard attached. Instructions and fixings are included. We recommend two people for assembly.

What are the dimensions of the headboard?

The headboard included is a 54-inch floor-standing model, featuring vertical stitched panels.

Will the chrome gliders damage my flooring?

No, the chrome gliders are designed to protect your floors from scratches and make it easier to move the bed.

Can I use any type of mattress with this base?

Yes, the platform-top construction is compatible with most standard mattress types.

Where is this bed frame manufactured?

The Comfort Beds Tokyo Plush Divan Base is handcrafted in the UK, ensuring high standards of quality and durability.

Troubleshooting

Bed base feels unstable or creaks.

Ensure all fixings, especially those connecting the headboard to the base and any frame components, are securely tightened. Check that the chrome gliders are firmly attached.

Drawers are difficult to open or close.

Check for any obstructions in the drawer runners. Ensure the bed base is level; adjust the gliders if necessary. Do not overfill the drawers.

Headboard is wobbly.

Verify that the headboard bolts and fixing clips are correctly aligned and fully tightened. Ensure the headboard is properly seated on the base.

Scuff marks on the floor.

Confirm that the chrome gliders are correctly installed on all points of contact with the floor. If marks persist, ensure the bed is not dragging and the gliders are adequately supporting the weight.
