The Altura Airstream Padded Cycling Shorts are designed for male adult cyclists who prioritize comfort and moisture management during long hours in the saddle. Featuring a professional-grade 3D pad and high-wicking fabrics, these shorts are an excellent choice for endurance rides or daily training; however, cyclists looking for baggy over-shorts for technical trail riding may find this form-fitting style less suitable for their specific needs.

While technically possible, these are designed as road-style cycling shorts. Most mountain bikers prefer looser 'trail' shorts over a padded liner.
Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle in cold water, and always hang them to dry.
Yes, they include reflective detailing to help improve your visibility to other road users.
Just ensure you keep it clean and avoid using bleach or heavy detergents that might degrade the foam structure.
Yes, this version is specifically designed for the male anatomy with a tailored cut and 3D pad.
Ensure the silicone grippers are clean and free of lotion or skin oils, as residue can reduce their 'tackiness' against the skin.
Verify that you are not wearing non-breathable base layers underneath, which can interfere with the high-wicking properties of the shorts.
To ensure the longevity of your Altura Airstream shorts, always wash them in cold or lukewarm water using a gentle, technical-fabric-safe detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can break down the technical fibers and the moisture-wicking treatment over time. It is recommended to air-dry the shorts away from direct sunlight. Before your first ride, ensure the waist sizing (UK 32) fits snugly without restricting your breathing; the material is designed to move with your body, so it should feel like a second skin.
