Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your HOKA Challenger 8 shoes last through many miles, proper care is essential. Upon receiving your shoes, verify the fit by checking for a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe. When cleaning, avoid using a washing machine, as this can degrade the waterproof membrane and foam structure. Instead, remove excess mud by tapping the soles together or using a soft-bristled brush. Wipe the upper with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature, keeping them away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the adhesives to weaken and the foam to compress prematurely.
