Product Information

Full details

The RidgeMonkey Nite Glo Wrap Sticks are an essential tool for carp anglers who require pinpoint accuracy when marking their fishing spots. Designed for precision, these sticks enable you to wrap up multiple rods to the exact same distance, ensuring your baiting and rigging are perfectly aligned every time. While they offer unparalleled convenience for night fishing thanks to their self-illuminating caps, they do require consistent ground conditions to maintain the accuracy of the 12ft measuring cord.

FAQs

Can I use these sticks on very hard ground?

Yes, but use caution. The stainless steel spikes are strong, but the aluminium body may scratch if forced into rocky or extremely hard terrain.

How long do the Nite Glo caps stay illuminated?

The duration depends on the intensity of the light exposure they received during the day, generally providing several hours of visibility.

Does the set include the measuring cord?

Yes, the product comes complete with a 12ft/3.6m measuring cord with adjustable markers.

Can I adjust the distance between sticks to something other than 12ft?

The cord is calibrated for 12ft, but you can manually measure shorter distances if necessary, though you lose the convenience of the factory-set markers.

Are replacement parts available for the Nite Glo caps?

Generally, replacement parts are not sold individually, so ensure you keep the caps stored securely in the provided carry pouch.

Troubleshooting

Sticks wobbling in the ground

Ensure the stainless steel spikes are pushed into the ground vertically; if the ground is too hard, tap them in gently using a rubber mallet.

Nite Glo caps not glowing

Expose the caps to direct sunlight or a bright headlamp for several minutes to 'charge' the photo-luminescent material.

Measuring cord tangling

Always coil the cord neatly and store it in the integrated mesh pocket of the carry pouch after every use.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent visibility in low-light and night conditions
Precision-machined aluminium prevents line damage
Rugged stainless steel spike for easier ground penetration
Includes everything needed for immediate setup
Compact storage solution with included pouch

Cons

Requires relatively soft or consistent ground for best results
The 12ft cord length is fixed, limiting adjustments beyond that distance
Aluminium body can be scratched if used in extremely rocky ground

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up, identify a flat area on your swim. Ensure the ground is firm enough to hold the sticks vertically. Attach the measuring cord to the base grooves; there are three options to accommodate different insertion depths.

Compatibility is universal for all carp fishing setups, provided the rod's line clip is compatible with your fishing line. Care for your wrap sticks by wiping them down with a damp cloth after use to remove grit and mud. Always store them in the included carry pouch to prevent the Nite Glo components from getting damaged or scratched in transit.
